On this tour you will discover the most picturesque mountainous regions of India, absorb it spiritual energy while trekking across mountain roads or driving through the thick medicinal forest. You will also visit Dalai Lama splendid monasteries and his summer residence.

Day 1: Delhi (Arrival)                                                

Upon arrival, after clearing immigration and custom’s, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel (check-in from 12:00 p.m.). Then we will have a city tour of Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi: An ancient walled city. Here you will drive past Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire: Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colourful market of the old city. (Red Fort Closed on Mondays). New Delhi: Our tour of New Delhi includes visits to such sights as the Qutab Minar 72 meters high and one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world. The Iron Pillar which has survived the vagaries of weather for over 1500 years. We will continue with a drive through Embassy area, the Government buildings (1921-1930). Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi ~ Chandigarh (train 07:40 / 11:25)

Early morning, transfer to railway station to connect train to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Shilma hotel. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. After a short rest, we will have a half-day tour of Chandigarh city covering places like: Rock Garden, Sukhana Lake and Rose Garden. Overnight stay in Chandigarh.

Day 3: Chandigarh ~ Dharamsala (255 km / 5 h)  

After breakfast at the hotel we drive to Dharamsala – the holy seat of Dalai Lama, perched on the high slopes in the upper reaches of beautiful Kangra Valley. Even if the Tibetan community dominates the town, still it has retained the colonial lifestyle and British fervor. In the afternoon we will have a half-day visit of Dharamsala covering Bagsu temple, Dalai Lama monasteries and Tibetan bazaar. Overnight in Dharamsala.

Day 4: In Dharamsala                       

After breakfast at the hotel, full day visit monasteries, library of Tibetan literature "Norbulingka" - summer residence of the Dalai Lama and Tibetan bazaar. Overnight stay in Dharamsala.

Day 5: Dharamsala ~ Manali (250 km / 5 h)  

Following breakfast, drive to Manali, upon arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon is free for visit Local Bazaar. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 6: In Manali                    

Morning visit Manali: Hadimba Temple: Manali has many attractions but the chief centre of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the Dhoongri Temple dedicated to goddess Hadimba, the Bhim of Mahabharat fame. It has four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. This temple located amidst wooden forest of deodar is about 2.5 km from the tourist office. It is a pleasant experience to stroll in the temple complex which was built in 1533 AD. A large festival is held here in May.

Tibetan Monasteries: There are 3 newly constructed colorful monasteries, where visitors can buy carpets and other Tibetan handicrafts. Two are located in the town and one at Aleo on the left bank of Beas River. Also visit: Manu Temple, Vashisht Village. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 7: Manali ~ Shimla (260 km / 5 h)  

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Shimla the stunning scenery to Shimla the "Queen of Hills". Shimla is located in the foothills of the Himalayas surrounded by river valleys, pine forests, marvelous terraced hillsides grow on the corn and apple orchards are. After it was discovered by the British in 1819, Shimla was once declared the summer capital of India. On arrival at Shimla check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 8: Shimla ~ Rishikesh (275 km / 6 h)  

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Rishikesh, upon arrival check into your hotel. Afternoon free for visit Local Bazaar. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 9: In Rishikesh               

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Rishikesh. Most of the pilgrims who pass through Rishikesh on their way to the Himalayan shrines of the Char Dham pause for a holy dip and puja at Triveni Ghat, There are a number of ashrams in and around Rishikesh, where rishis (saints) stay. Some of the ashrams are situated on the eastern bank of the river Ganges and the entire cluster is known as Swargashram. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Ashram is famous the world over for which the credit goes to the rock band Beatles. Several ashrams offer yoga courses and many pilgrims from in and around the country come here to learn yoga. Along with the ashrams, there are a few temples having some mythological importance. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 10: Rishikesh ~ Haridwar ~ Delhi (245 km / 6 h)  

After breakfast at hotel we will drive to Delhi en-route visit Haridwar. According to your departure time, our driver brings you to the Delhi airport for the onward flight back home.
