Price: $ 870 per person / tour

This tour offers the most invigorating trekking trails through the rainforest regions of Wayanad. While trekking tour, you will be accompanied by trackers / guides from the local community. You will see the first rays of sun breaking through the mist, bathing in the waterfall lagoons and walk barefoot to feel the dew drops on the grass. Depending on the physical fitness we can provide various trekking terrain options.

Indigenous people: Wayanad belongs to the indigenous people from Naykar, Paniyar communities. We don't encourage the encroachment into the private lives of these communities unless they take the initiative to communicate as we won't like to disturb the normal balance of their lives. Crossing these communities you will get a feel of their life style.

Wildlife: On this tour you will have an opportunity to spot the animals living in these forests: Asiatic Elephants, Leopards, Boars, Hyenas, Bears, Spotted Deers, Sambars along with different varieties of reptiles, butterflies and birds. Keep in mind that this is not a zoo and you will have to spend more time to be lucky enough to see a minimum of animals.

Nature treks: Includes soft and hard trek, waterfall trails, tracing rivers, etc.

Camping: Campsites offers the beautiful views to the valley and rain forests. The safety & security will be solely your responsibility as no one could be responsible.

Food: The meals will be prepared by the local community members. This way we chose, to contribute the additional income to the local communities as a result of aware tourism. Breakfast includes boiled eggs, cereals, traditional food and health drinks. Lunch will be mostly of rice, and other starch rich varieties, with an option of fresh vegetables. Dinner at the base camp consists of rice, chapatti, chicken or fish and vegetarian curries.

Guides: Our guides are members of the indigenous community and local farmers. No one can match their agility and the knowledge about the terrain. Listen to them as they are our links to the wild Wayanad. We provide an alternative source of income for those who have been affected by crop failures and an employment in Wayanad.
