Welcome to colorful Rajasthan. In front of you open up the country’s richest crop of sand dunes, historical treasures, picturesque architecture and a dazzling landscape. Experience the luxury of being treated like Maharaja while staying in the historical hotels being once Maharajas’ shelter, sight an amazing beauty of the arts and crafts, ride a camel in the Desert Thar and an elephant to one of the most magnificent forts, the Amber Fort. The conclusion of this trip makes up a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, entirely built in white marble - the Taj Mahal.

Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)                           
On arrival in Delhi our executive meets you at the airport and accompanies you to the hotel. After refreshment we take you on a sightseeing tour around the capital of India, Delhi (New and Old Delhi) with its history that spans over several millennia. The highlights of the tour are: Qutb Minar - the imposing Tower of Victory, the Lotus Temple with its distinctive lotus-shaped marvel in marble which manifests a symbol of peace, the India Gate and the House of the President from outside. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi ~ Udaipur (by flight)                              
In the morning after breakfast we bring you to the airport for the onward flight to Udaipur, Rajasthan’s most romantic city. Situated on the banks of Pichola and the Fatehsagar Lakes, the city has been once a capital of the state of Mewar and is dotted with palaces, domes and shrines. On arrival in Udaipur you check in at the hotel and have time for refreshment. In the evening we take you on a boat cruise on the Pichola Lake from where you have a wonderful view of the fascinating City Palace made of soft yellow stone on a rocky promontory. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 03: Udaipur ~ Pushkar (280km / 6h)
After breakfast we continue our journey to Pushkar. The legendary colour of the Camel Mela combined with the beautiful desert scenery and the impressive religious atmosphere of the temples and Ghats welcome you in Pushkar. On arrival you check in at the hotel. In the evening we visit the Brahmaji Mandir temple with eventual Pushkar Pooja ceremony at sunset with the sound of temple bells and drums drifting across the lake. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 04: Pushkar ~ Jaipur (140km / 3h)
After breakfast we take you on a half-day walking tour around Pushkar. We visit the main bazaar with its endless line of shops crammed with hippy trinkets, full-moon-party fluorescent outfits, jewellery and street side cafés churn out banana pancakes and mind-blowing bhang lassies. Later in the afternoon we drive to Jaipur. On arrival you check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 05: In Jaipur
After breakfast the day starts with climbing up an elephant for a ride to the Amber Fort (Subject to availability). It is a romantic fort-palace with a magnificent aura. The interior wall of the palace depicts expressive painting scenes with carvings, precious stones and mirror setting. At Amber Fort we visit the Sheesh Mahal, Ganesh Pol, Shila Devi Temple, Kesar Kyari Bagh. In the afternoon we take you on a sightseeing tour around Jaipur where we visit Hawa Mahal (from outside), the City Palace and Jantar Mantar. In the evening a romantic rickshaw ride takes you through the streets of the Pink City. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 06: Jaipur ~ Agra  (240km / 5h)
In the morning after breakfast we drive to Agra. Along the road we visit Fatehpur Sikri, a magnificent city that was once a Mughal Empire during the reign of Emperor Akbar. On arrival in Agra you check in at the hotel. After refreshment we visit "the epitome of love" and a monument of immeasurable beauty, the Taj Mahal at sunset. (Please note: Taj Mahal is closed on Friday). It is a white marble memorial, which was built during the Mugal empire, by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The monument sums up many of the former themes that are found in the Islamic architecture. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 07:  Agra ~ Delhi (Departure)  (210km / 4h)
After you checked out from the hotel on the way to Delhi we visit Agra Fort. Situated alongside the River Yamuna, the magnificent Agra Fort symbolizes the stature and power of Mughal Emperor Akbar who had built this elegant building complex. The fort reflects an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. On arrival in Delhi we bring you to the airport for the onward flight back home.
